About Me.
I’m a design leader based in Lisbon, with 25 years of experience building digital products and the teams that make them.
My background runs deep in healthcare: FDA-cleared medical devices, Parkinson’s care apps, pharmaceutical research platforms. More recently into construction SaaS, where I currently lead a 10-person design team at Causeway Technologies. Across all of it, the work has been complex, the users real, and the constraints unforgiving. That’s the environment where I do my best work.
Before Causeway, I was Director of Design at Rune Labs, where I redesigned StrivePD and conceived the AI-native strategy that became the product’s next major release. Before that, six years at Impossible as Lead Designer and then Design Director, working for Roche Diagnostics on projects that included a shipped medical device and a four-year enterprise platform engagement. And before all of that, twelve years at SAPO, Portugal’s largest web portal, where I grew from designer to team lead, and helped build things that are still in use today.
I’m equally comfortable setting strategic direction and doing the work myself. I think the best design leaders do both.
